GBZ GB-P20 Bonded Screen Removal Tool

The GB-P20 semi-conductor shaving tool is suitable for use on the BONDED semi-conductive layers of MV polymeric cables up to 50mm in diameter.

Due to the special grinding and polishing of the tungsten-carbide blade a consistent, faultless surface finish to the primary insulation is assured.

  • Accommodates cable diameter range: 15mm – 50mm
  • Adjustable shaving depth, 0.1-1.2.0mm (0.1mm increments)
  • SG100 silicone grease is required to lubricate the tool during use

Spare blades are also available if required.

Cembre C-Tap Connectors

The Cembre C-Tap connectors are suitable for creating earthing network grids or tapping-off from Low Voltage overhead distribution lines. Cembre sleeve connectors are manufactured from high-conductivity copper with a purity greater than 99.5%.

Standard C-Tap sleeve connectors are supplied in bare copper with a bright surface finish. For more onerous environments, a tin-plated version is also available, please contact our Sales Team for more information.
