Sales Account Manager

Location: UK & Ireland
Position: Permanent, full time

ETS Cable Components, established in 1988, operating out of 3 locations in the UK and Ireland are actively looking to recruit an Internal Sales Account Manager, due to continued growth.
We specialise in providing products to enable installation and powering up of low / medium voltage power cables and we are currently supplying to a number of large scale construction sites, both here in the UK and Ireland as well as across Europe

Your role will be varied and will involve;

  • Building, developing and managing excellent customer relationships
  • Converting inbound calls and enquiries into sales
  • Making outbound calls to prospective customers, generating sales opportunities and following up
  • Account managing key clients
  • Providing clients with product, pricing, technical and logistics expertise
  • Handling web and email enquiries
  • Producing detailed quotes and following up via email / phone
  • Taking and processing orders, using a bespoke system
  • Providing administration and customer support to the External Sales Team
  • Co-ordinating delivery of goods (worldwide) liaising with logistic and courier companies
  • Working closely with purchasing, accounts, warehouse and the administration team to ensure complete customer satisfaction

The successful person will have;

  • Experience in sales support, customer service, technical support or sales
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate plus knowledge of MS Office including Excel would be an advantage
  • Happy to up sell and cross sell (no cold calling)
  • Good level of education including Mathematics and English
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve
  • A background in B2B distribution or the electrical industry, although this is not essential as full ongoing training will be provided
