E1XF Brass Flameproof (ATEX) Cable Glands

E1XF ATEX brass cable gland, suitable for use with all braided or steel tape armoured (STA) cables within CAT 2 (EExd Zone 2) (Zone 1) and CAT 3 (Zone 2) Hazardous Areas, providing IP66 LSF Zero Halogen (LSZH) environmental seals onto the cables inner and outer sheaths.

The flameproof and weatherproof ATEX certified cable gland is manufactured from high quality brass as standard and metric threads are 15mm in length throughout the range.

Entry thread protection rating IP54, IP66 protection can be obtained by using an entry thread washer.

Order reference includes one E1XF gland, brass locknut, brass earthtag and PVC gland shroud. (LSZH shrouds also available).

E1WF LSF Brass Flameproof (ATEX) Cable Glands

The ATEX E1WF brass cable gland is both flameproof and weatherproof, suitable for use with all steel wire armoured (SWA) cables within ATEX CAT 2 (EExd Zone 2) (Zone 1) and CAT 3 (Zone 2) Hazardous Areas.

Each E1WF cable gland provides an LSF Zero Halogen (LSZH) IP66 environmental seal onto the cable’s inner and outer sheaths and three part armour wire termination.

A nylon thread washer is supplied with the cable gland to retain the IP66 rating upon installation.

Order reference includes one E1WF ATEX cable gland, brass locknut, brass earthtag and LSF Zero Halogen (LSZH) shroud.

A2F LSF Brass Flameproof (ATEX) Cable Glands

A2F ATEX brass stuffing gland, suitable for indoor and outdoor use with all types of un-armoured cables, providing mechanical cable retention and an IP66/67/68 LSF Zero Halogen (LSZH) environmental displacement seal onto the cable’s outer sheath.

Tri-Star triple certified Flameproof EExd, Increased Safety EExe and Restricted Breathing ExnR for use within CAT 2 (EExd Zone 2) and CAT 3 hazardous areas (Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21 & Zone 22).

The flameproof ATEX gland entry threads are rated at IP54, these can be increased to IP66 with a nylon thread washer or IP68 deluge protected with the addition of an O-ring.

Order references includes one ATEX A2F cable gland, brass locknut and LSF Zero Halogen (LSZH) gland shroud.

LSF E1W Weatherproof Aluminium Cable Glands

Aluminium CMP LSF E1W cable glands are suitable for use with LSF sheathed aluminium wire armoured (AWA) cables for either indoor or outdoor environments, the weatherproof gland provides an IP66 seal to both the cable’s inner and outer sheath.

Mechanical armour wire retention and electrical continuity of the AWA is provided by an armour cone and separate clamping ring, which allows for easy removal of the gland body for testing without disturbing the clamping arrangement. Metric male threads are rated at IP54, which can be increased to IP66 with a nylon thread washer.

CMP E1W LSF glands are manufactured from high quality aluminium alloy grade BS1474/1 6082/HE30.

LSF E1W gland kits contain gland, short-circuit tested aluminium earthtag, aluminium locknut and Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) shroud. Largest thread forms are available, contact our Sales Team for more details.

E1W Weatherproof Aluminium Cable Glands

Aluminium CMP E1W cable glands are suitable for use with aluminium wire armoured (AWA) cables for either indoor or outdoor environments, the weatherproof gland provides an IP66 seal to both the cable’s inner and outer sheath. A variant is also available, Type E1Y, to suit aluminium strip (ASA) cables.

Mechanical armour wire retention and electrical continuity of the AWA is provided by an armour cone and separate clamping ring, which allows for easy removal of the gland body for testing without disturbing the clamping arrangement. Metric male threads are rated at IP54, which can be increased to IP66 with a nylon thread washer.
