BW Brass Cable Glands are manufactured from high quality brass as standard and are suitable for use with all PVC sheathed steel wire armoured (SWA) cables, within dry, indoor environments.

CW LSF Brass Cable Glands – The CW cable gland is suitable for use with all steel wire armoured (SWA) cables for either indoor or outdoor environments, providing an IP66 ingress protection rated seal to the cable’s outer sheath.

Both of these cable glands provide mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity of the cables armouring. The metric male threads on both glands are rated at IP54, but the CW version can be increased to IP66 with the use of a nylon entry thread washer. ETS Cable Components also offer a heavy-duty BWL cable gland variant to augment this range.
