The heavy-duty variant of the uncoated, stainless steel RollerBall cable tie. The ties feature a roller ball tensioning mechanism which grips the tie strap and secures and locks the tie as it is tensioned. The strap is 7.6mm wide enabling it to be used within heavy duty applications, with a tensile strength of 1070N (110kgs).
These stainless steel cable ties are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, where resistance to corrosion is paramount and offer excellent resistance to a wide variety of chemicals. 316 stainless steel is also austentic, inherently non-magnetic and thermally non-hardenable. Due to the high melting point of 316 stainless steel, these stainless steel ties are generally accepted as fire resistant.
316 stainless steel contains molybdenum up to a maximum of 3% increasing the corrosion resistance to withstand attack by many industrial chemicals and solvents and, in particular, inhibits pitting caused by chlorides.
This type of stainless steel cable tie requires installation with the MK9 SST or DSTG1 installation tools.
