3M Scotch vinyl mastic tapes and pads are self-fusing, rubber based insulation compounds, laminated to a flexible, all-weather PVC backing.

These 3M vinyl tapes and pre-cut pads are designed to insulate, moisture-seal and pad all connections up to 600V. Featuring excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, acid, and copper corrosion, as well as varying weather conditions, including ultraviolet exposure.

Suitable for bolted connections, lightning connections, grouding/earthing rod connection protection and cable end sealing.

3M Scotchfil Electrical Insulation Putty

The 3M Scotchfil electrical insulation putty is a putty-like electrical grade compound in tape form. 3M Scotchfil putty is UL recognised as splice insulation for electrical conductors at temperatures up to +80o, when over-wrapped with either Super 33+ or Super 88 electrical tapes.

The non-corrosive synthetic rubber of the electrical putty, provides excellent electrical and ageing properties.

Common uses of Scotchfil putty include: insulating low voltage (LV) connections, build up or filling of major voids in LV, MV and HV connections, smoothing bus bar irregularities and to moisture-seal multi-conductor cable connections.

3M Scotch Super 88 All Weather PVC Tape

Heavy-duty, all-weather 3M Scotch Super 88 electrical insulation tape. Manufactured from PVC, the tape is 0.216mm thick with a continuous temperature limit of +105oC and down to -18oC for cold weather applications.

The 3M Scotch 88 electrical tape has excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalis, acids and corrosion. The tape is also resistant to varying weather conditions, including UV exposure.

Conforming to BS 3924 and UL 510, under which the Super 88 tape is listed as flame-retardant, cold and weather resistant.

PADS Approved for use within Network Rail projects.
