Flameproof (ATEX) Insulated Metric Thread Adaptors

CMP hexagonal brass/nylon metric insulated adaptors provide a means to isolate the earth of the supply cable from the load equipment to reduce the effects of circulating currents. Generally used in conjunction with CIEL (cast integral earth lug) cable glands, they can be used with any metric brass gland within our range.

The insulated threaded adaptors have ATEX certification for use within CAT 2 (EExd Zone 2) (EExd Zone 1) and CAT 3 (EExd Zone 2) Hazardous Areas. The adaptors can also be supplied with GOST-K, GOST-R, SIRA, CSA, or UL approvals to special order.

Manufactured from high quality brass from standard, may also be supplied with stainless steel or aluminium inserts and in other thread forms: Imperial ET, NPT, BSP and PG threads.
