Mechanical armour wire retention and electrical continuity is provided by a detachable armour cone and AnyWay universal clamping ring, allowing easy removal of the gland body for testing. The metric male threads are rated at IP54, but can be increased to IP66 with the use of a nylon entry thread washer.
The CW glands are manufactured from high quality brass as standard. Order reference includes gland kit containing: CW cable gland, galvanised steel locknut, brass earthtag and PVC shroud. Entry thread washers are available to order separately.
