TE-Connectivity EAKT 1658 solderless earthing kits are required to effectively earth the copper tape screen of 31-44mm diameter XLPE or EPR insulated cables without the need for soldering.

Each TE-Connectivity earthing kit contains 3 copper flexible braids with soldered water-block and constant force springs.

TE-Connectivity EAKT 1658 properties:

  • Conductor diameter range: 31.0-44.0mm
  • Cable size acceptance at 12kV: 300-630mm2
  • Cable size acceptance at 17.5kV: 240-500mm2
  • Cable size acceptance at 24kV: 185-500mm2
  • Cable size acceptance at 36kV: 95-300mm2
