TE-Connectivity EAKT 1656 solderless earthing kits are required to effectively earth the copper tape screen of 19-24mm diameter XLPE or EPR insulated cables without the need for soldering.

Each TE-Connectivity earthing kit contains 3 copper flexible braids with soldered water-block and constant force springs.

TE-Connectivity EAKT 1656 properties:

  • Conductor diameter range: 19.0-24.0mm
  • Cable size acceptance at 12kV: 70-150mm2
  • Cable size acceptance at 17.5kV: 35-95mm2
  • Cable size acceptance at 24kV: 25-70mm2
  • Cable size acceptance at 36kV: 25-35mm2
