Insulated Brass Cable Glands – CMP B348

ZEN insulated brass cable glands suitable for use with all steel wire armoured (SWA) power cables for either indoor or outdoor environments, providing an IP66 environmental seal to the cable’s outer sheath.

The CMP B348 insulated gland effectively insulates the gland and cable armouring from the equipment, eliminates circulating currents and provides high levels of protection against fault currents, particularly useful for MV (11-33kV) cable installations.

Rather than traditional metric thread at the equipment entry, the ZEN concept features a two-part insulated components which secures the gland onto the equipment, continuing the IP66 rating without the need for additional sealing washers.
