Cembre 11-33kV Copper Cable Lugs – Type 2AM

The single-bolt Cembre 2A-M range of heavy-duty copper tube terminals are designed for use with Migh Voltage circular stranded copper conductors between 400-1000mm² for voltages up to 33kV.

Manufactured from high-conductivity seamless copper tube, type 2A lugs to BS EN 17735 with a purity greater than 99.5%, each product is designed to meet the requirements of BS4579 Part 3 when used with the appropriate die set/compression tool combination.

The absence of an inspection hole prevents the entry of water or moisture and therefore allows these HV terminals to be installed in both indoor and outdoor applications.

Two-bolt variant of the 2A-M lug is also available in certain sizes, as well as the option to have the barrel pre-filled with an epoxy compound to enhance the moisture-blocking. Please contact our Sales Team with your exact requirements.
