3M Scotch^TM 77. 38mm wide fire and electrical arc proofing tape is designed to protect all types of electrical cables. The elastomer expands during a fire to provide a thick char build-up between the flame and cable creating an insulating firewall. This firewall acts as a flame barrier and heat shield, protecting the cable and vital accessories.

• Provides fault arc protection to adjacent cables.
• Provides additional electrical insulation.
• Resists UV, water, salt water, acids and foul water.
• Installed in conjunction with two lapped layers of 69 glass cloth tape.
